As the months get colder, the almighty tomato may seem like a distant memory, and it may also seem like a lifetime before we are able to gather and celebrate the unity and joy that it brings to the East Nashville Community of Five Points and beyond.
However, My Cluck Hut and Tomato Arts Festival are joining forces to raise money for a great cause AND provide you with a beautiful reminder of what is to come when the frost melts and the spring rains subside.
Now available for your summer vibes all year long, “Cluck Ya Later, Mater”. My Cluck Hut will be donating 30% of every “Cluck Ya Later, Mater” soap sold to Friends of Shelby Park & Bottoms until they are sold out. The “Cluck Ya Later, Mater” Soap Bar provides the sweet scent of vine-ripe tomatoes at your fingertips until we can have the real thing again. About Friends of Shelby Park & Bottoms:
Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms is working to create a world-class park, by restoring and preserving its historic importance, protecting its environmental resources and providing amenities for active and passive recreation for all the people who use the park. The parks are an oasis of green space in the heart of Nashville. In working to preserve and enhance the park, Friends of Shelby serves neighborhood and city residents, local businesses, schools, and other organizations, as well as all park visitors from both inside and outside the community.
In partnership with the Metro Nashville Parks Department, Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms works to engage the community in park beautification and the maintenance of park features, create and promote park programs and activities, and advocate for continued funding to fulfill the Shelby Park Master Plan.
