I have been using a shaving soap and brush since I first learned to shave. That's well on 35 years or so. I've used all sorts of hoity-toity soaps from various military commanders, road-side signages, to simple-named Britanias. This is the best shaving soap I have used, bar none. It lathers nice, smells amazing, and provides a shave surface slicker than The Don's lies! My razor, a simple MERKUR 23C Double Edge, literally sang like Excalibur while cutting my beard like so many Anglo-Saxons at Mount Badon. Buy this soap!
Never thought I would be motivated to write a review of soap, but this shave bar is truly amazing-- great close shave, and very smooth. Highly recommend, and will be purchasing again!

Good product. Not much lather, as advertised, but super slick and lets razor glide over skin with a close shave. Good stuff and nice scent.
